About the designer

Maria Jenny is the jewelry designer and owner of The Gemmed Giraffe.  The Gemmed Giraffe is the name of my online store. After retiring from a  large corporation in 2008, she became interested in jewelry making when she wanted to fix several of her own favorite jewelry pieces.  With a little research and being a self taught, self directed individual, she opened her online studio store.  Maria strives to create simple, elegant and classic pieces.

Maria holds a Master's degree in business and is currently enrolled in The Sheffield Schools Jewelry Design program. She enjoys gardening, playing tennis, and tutoring children in reading. pieces.
